Delivery Charge

We use mainly our own transport for delivery also via Gap UK supplies + Quay Plastics + door - stop as well as Interlink and Night Freight Couriers. Handling & Delivery is Charged at a flat rate of £2.95 for easy to mail smallest items, £6.35 For parcels / some smaller items and £7.95 For larger lengths and bulky items in Total. There may be a surcharge to the following areas: Grampians, Highlands, Scottish Islands, Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, and Scilly.  There may also be a surcharge to the South West of England due to possibilities of falling outside of our depots/couriers delivery range.  (These may be charged for delivery please double check with us prior to completing your order. These can still be delivered via courier but may be subject to additional carriage charges.)  Please contact us for information on surcharges.

( Please Note: *UPVC Window Frames and UPVC Door Frames are price on application.) Composite doors and UPVC Door Panels are free delivery*.

*Surcharges are applicable to different areas. ( We shall notify you if there is to be a surcharge before processing your order.) UPVC Windows and the UPVC Door Frames delivery prices will vary depending on the delivery distance from our depot, again we shall notify you on any charges for delivery when applicable. (Orders Over £30 are free delivery throughout the entire UK.)

Time for Delivery

We endeavour to get your products to you as quickly as possible. If a product is in stock it will usually be delivered to your front door. Larger items, such as conservatories or Doors may take longer depending on your specific requirements. If you would like to find out how soon we can deliver please contact us.

We only deliver to UK mainland addresses.

Delivery Confirmation

You will receive confirmation of your order once the checkout process is complete. You may also print off the final screen for your records. If there is likley to be a delay in sending your order we will telephone to explain and give an estimated delivery time.

When goods are delivered, it is the receivers’ duty to check them. In the absence of any written notification of damage or loss being entered onto the consignment note at time of delivery it will be presumed that the consignment has been delivered intact.

IT IS NO GOOD TO SIGN UNCHECKED OR NOT TO PUT ON THE CONSIGNMENT NOTE WHAT IS DAMAGED AS ONCE THE HAULIER/COURIER LEAVES THE DELIVERY ADDRESS ALL INSURANCE COVER CEASES AND ANY REPLACEMENT GOODS WILL HAVE TO BE PAID FOR.

Conditions of Carriage

Parties & Subcontracting

We undertake to use our reasonable endeavors to ensure the safe and prompt delivery of your consignment for which purpose we may employ a subcontractor on any term. Any subcontractor and our servants and our agents are entitled to the protection of the terms of this contract including limitations on liability.

Loading & Unloading

We are under no obligation to provide any plant or machinery for purpose of uploading or loading your consignment.

If required to render assistance we do so at your risk and you will indemnify us in respect of any loss, damage or demands arising during such loading or unloading made by you or any other party whether or not caused by our negligence.

Packaging & Labeling

When goods are delivered, it is the receivers’ duty to check them. In the absence of any written notification of damage or loss being entered onto the consignment note at time of delivery it will be presumed that the consignment has been delivered intact.

Undelivered & Unclaimed Consignments

Where for any reason we have been unable to deliver a consignment in accordance with your request, if you have not made alternative arrangements at your expense within seven days we shall inform you of our intentions and shall be authorized by you to sell the consignment seven days thereafter and will do what is reasonable to obtain the value of the consignment. We shall be discharged from any and all liability in respect of the consignment and our service in relation to it upon payment to you of the proceeds net of our reasonable charges and expenses.

Liability for Loss & Damage

In respect of any consignment, a delivery receipt is signed by, or on behalf of the consignee shall be conclusive evidence of delivery of the consignment in good order and condition, save to the extent that any damage or discrepancy is noted on the receipt and accordingly no claims shall be brought in respect of the consignment for loss or damage not noted.

We shall have no liability for loss or damage howsoever arising and whether or not caused by our negligence to a consignment stated elsewhere in these conditions shall be carried at your risk.

We shall not be reliable for loss or damage to a consignment arising from:
1) act of God;
2) the consequences of war, invasion, acts from an enemy, hostilities (whether war be declared or not), civil war, rebellion, insurrection, military, or usurped power or confiscation, requisition, or destruction of or damage to property by or under any order of government or public authority;
3) seizure or forfeiture under legal process;
4) act or omission or misstatement or misrepresentation by you or the consignee; or any other owner of the consignment or their servant or agents;
5) inherent liability to wastage or inherent defect, vice or natural deterioration of the consignment
6) insufficient or improper packaging of the consignment;
7) insufficient or improper labeling or addressing of the consignment;
8) civil commotion, strike, lockout, general or partial stoppage or restraint of labour from whatever cause;
9) any consignee not taking or accepting delivery within a reasonable time after the consignment has been tendered;
10) in any event our liability shall not exceed the cost price of the consignment or where part of a consignment is lost or damaged the cost price of that part of it which is lost or damaged whether or not the loss or damage to that part affects the value of the other part of the consignment. For the avoidance of doubt cost price excludes a profit element in the price and/or consequential loss including loss of profit. We shall be entitled to require proof of the cost price of any consignment of the part thereof damaged. In the absence of proof, we reserve the right to deduct an appropriate percentage of the sales value of the consignment or part thereof damaged when calculating compensation due to you.

Where appropriate we shall at our option repair rather than replace any consignment or part thereof damaged for which we are liable as set out above.

We shall have no liability for loss or damage arising, whether or not caused by our negligence, in respect of any indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, market or reputation.

In respect of any loss, direct or indirect as a consequence of delay, compensation shall not exceed the amount of the carriage charges in respect of the consignment or your proved loss whichever is smaller.

Time Limit for Claims

We shall not be liable for any loss, damage or delay caused (whether or not by our negligence) to any consignment in the following circumstances:
Where any loss, damage, misdelivery or delay to a consignment or part of a consignment has not been the subject of both of the following:
A written advice to us in the form of a consignment investigation request which we will provide in response to being notified of alleged loss or damage but which must be completed by you and which we must receive within twenty-one days of the commencement of carriage;
A completed Goods in Transit claim form received by us within twenty-one days of its issue to you.

In the absence of a claim being made within six months after the commencement of carriage the consignment shall be conclusively presumed to have been properly delivered and we may destroy the consignment note and other delivery documentation.

A claim shall not be made unless and until we receive full supporting documentation compromising at least a completed claim form on our standard form, a commercial invoice in respect of the consignment and proof of the cost price and/or the cost of repair of the consignment.

We shall in any event be discharged of any liability howsoever arising whether or not caused by our negligence unless proceedings are issued and served upon us within nine months of the commencement of carriage,

Returns Policy

Cancellation of order:   you may cancel an order within 7 working days provided it has not already been despatched.

Returning goods:  you may return goods within 7 days provided the product(s) are in original condition and any packaging has not been removed or damaged. Re-Stocking fee applies to this. Costs for returning non-faulty goods is the responsibility of the customer. At our discretion we may accept return of goods after the 7 day period but we will again need to charge a re-stocking fee.

Undelivered Goods

If any part part of your order is not delivered please contact us within 7 days and we will investigate the cause. If necessary we will send replacements.
